The MICCI Taxation & Budget Council is delighted to invite you to the MICCI - UM Post Budget 2026 Forum, organised in collaboration with Universiti Malaya (UM).
This high-level forum will bring together prominent industry leaders, policymakers, and academia to explore the key takeaways and implications of Budget 2026 on Malaysia’s business landscape.
The forum will be graced by the Secretary General of Treasury, Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican from the Ministry of Finance (MOF). Also participating in the plenary discussions are the Chief Executive Officer / Director General from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD), who will share key perspectives on direct and indirect taxation.
Adding a research-driven dimension, distinguished academics from Universiti Malaya will present insightful case studies, connecting policy discussions with real-world industry experiences.
