JPT-KPT-Industry Rountable Discussion 2023 (JKIRD 2023) is a roundtable discussion which is a new program by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), managed by Pusat Perhubungan Industri, Universiti Malaya. This roundtable series is organized regionally and UM has been selected as the first host for the central region. JKIRD 2023 was held in Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on Nov, 14 2023 (Tuesday).
More than 20 industries attended the discussion together with participating universities from the central region, including IIUM, UKM, UPM, UPNM, UiTM and MMU. With the theme Academia x Industry Synchronization: Ensuring Future-Ready Talents, the discussion between universities and industries is hoped to bring some light and solutions to the current issues related to the university graduate talents so that they can have a brighter future when they join the industry in future.
